Today we did our first Water bug collection. We didn’t find as many as we thought, but we plan to test somewhere else along the river next time to see if we can collect more.
We brought our bugs back to school and used the Microscope camera to examine the bugs and try to determine what they were. This was quite difficult and we are not 100% sure we recorded them correctly. It was really fun looking at the bugs on the big screen using the microscope.
We have included some photos of our bugs. Perhaps we can get some feedback on the classifications.
