A thought-provoking and enlightening documentary, The Lake of Scars is making it’s TV debut tonight on NITV at 9:30pm. Based on the culturally significant Boort Lakes system in the North Central CMA region, this is a story of how we work together to preserve, protect and promote these important places for the future.
Narrated by the late Uncle Jack Charles, this is a great documentary for upper secondary students and The Education Shop have released FREE teachers notes with discussion prompters for schools on reconciliation, heritage, environment, frontier violence, Indigenous burning techniques and more.
You can checkout as a guest and the link will be sent to your straight away.
With very little forewarning you may not catch the screening tonight but I’m sure it will available on demand through NITV afterwards.
