Well it’s been another interesting year to say the least and we know that it has been almost impossible to implement the River Detectives program in the way that you may have planned – we get it.
The silver lining may just be that sourcing innovative ways to engage your students in fun, meaningful, real life learning has become all the more important . . . . . activities to inspire students, opportunities to make a difference, outdoor activities that connect students with nature, foster wellbeing and allow all students to succeed and thrive.
It’s time to reflect on the year that was and with hopes of a more ‘normal’ and connected 2022 invite you to join us again in the new year.
Great News ! We are delighted to announce that funding has been secured to continue the state-wide River Detectives program for the next three years. Kirkland Lake Gold has committed to funding the program in its current form until October 2024. This funding ensures our important environmental education program can carry on in the North Central, North East, Corangamite and Wimmera CMA regions. It will also continue being rolled out in the Melbourne Water area.
We’re not going anywhere and we’d love to keep working with you !
