Why not give your River Detectives program an extra boost with the Victorian Landcare Grants?
Could your group benefit from a bus to your testing site, or along your river to compare, some extra equipment to test, some extra support to help run activities, some trees to plant at your testing site? The options are broad depending on what you are doing at your school!
Victorian schools, kindergartens, childcare, scouts, guides and youth groups the Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grants of up to $5,000 each (excl GST) are now available. Projects can be both direct action (focus on improving biodiversity through development improvement or restoration of habitat) or indirect action (educate, involve and engage youth in valuing and actively caring for the natural environment or a mixture.
