Are you and your students concerned about climate change? Do you wonder how to approach the conversation gently without overwhelming young minds? Do you wish you could tell your students about some of the inspiring things that are happening to provide hope? Well you’ll love this resource!
Recently, we interviewed author and illustrator of picture story book “Wave Of Change”, Meg Humphrys. Meg has worked as a sustainability advisor to the water industry so could explain real examples of good things happening.
We thank Meg for her generosity and we thank the Grade 5 River Detectives students of Cornish College (Melbourne Water area) for submitting questions to pose to Meg. They have received a signed copy of Meg’s book.
For the first time we have produced a recording for primary schools (41mins) and another version for secondary schools with some meatier content added (58mins).
We know it’s late in the year, but the webinar recording is now available as a resource you can use with your students when the time is right. We hope it helps you explore climate change and have meaningful discussions.
The primary school version can be accessed directly here.
