I don’t how we got here so quickly but the registration period for our 2024 River Detectives program opens soon, on Wednesday 15th November.
From this date an ‘apply now’ link will be visible on the website (we will also circulate the direct link to you on this day). Registrations for will be taken up until February 14th 2024 – spread the word among other schools !
Note: We require ALL 2023 River Detective schools to complete the evaluation/registration process regardless of whether you plan to continue. This will let us know of your 2024 intentions and organise for the pick up of water quality kits.
With decision time looming we’d love you to start having a conversation with colleagues about your school’s capacity to continue the program in 2024. This might mean starting a handover process to another staff member or class to ‘plant the seed’.
To ‘induct’ a colleague and get a snapshot of what the program can offer, all are welcome (including staff, passionate parents or community members) to sign up for the ‘Dive Deeper with River Detectives’ webinar I will be presenting as part of ResourceSmart’s Sustainability in Schools month on Monday 27th November, 3:45-4:30pm.
