It’s time for the second round of River Detectives PD sessions for 2023 and just in time for the warmer weather we’re diving into the world of waterbugs !

Macroinvertebrate Sampling is one of the most loved and engaging River Detectives activities and will complement your water quality testing beautifully.

Come along for a hands-on session to;

• Find out what equipment is needed for waterbug sampling and where to get it
• Learn how to run a waterbug session
• Experience waterbug sampling and enhance your knowledge and ID skills (there is always something new to learn about waterbugs)
• Hear of the support and resources available

This session is open to all staff from River Detective schools, staff from non-River Detective schools, parent helpers, early childhood staff and community members looking to engage with their local school.
