- Trees for Bees Community Tree Grants program:
A new community tree grants program is providing small community groups with the opportunity to make a big difference for pollinators.
The Trees for Bees Community Tree Grants program is providing grants of up to $500 to community organisations, schools, sporting clubs, gardening clubs and environmental groups to plant pollinator-friendly trees and shrubs in their local area.
It’s a great opportunity to show people how individually we can make a difference, and collectively we can scale that impact.
Trees for Bees Community Tree Grants are proudly sponsored by Carman’s.
Applications are now open and close on 31 July 2023 5pm AEST.

The Wheen Bee Foundation is doing great things around bee education. Their newsletter ‘The Latest Buzz’ is well worth subscribing to. They offer free pollinator planting guides for many regions of Victoria (and adding more all the time) and have great bee-themed teaching and learning resources.
