Our hearts are breaking for the River Detectives schools, staff, students and their communities that were impacted by last week’s major weather event and the flooding emergency that has unfolded and continues to unfold.
Mother Nature has certainly thrown everything at us and we are seeing first hand how our catchments and waterways function and respond. It’s certainly not the way we would like to learn about it.
We sincerely hope you are all safe and are receiving the help you need in whatever situation you are in.
The River Detectives community is thinking of the schools that have been inundated, the students/staff whose homes have been impacted and the communities that have lived this experience.
