Teaching staff and anyone involved in helping registered schools with their River Detectives involvement are invited to the second free River Detectives PD session for 2022.  Spring has sprung so it’s prime waterbug season !!

Macroinvertebrate Sampling is a highly engaging, practical, educational activity for all ages that adds another waterway assessment method to your citizen-science toolbox.

Come along for a hands-on session with your River Detectives colleagues;

• Experience waterbug sampling first hand and enhance your knowledge and ID skills
• Gain confidence in running your own session with students by understanding the myriad of resources that are available
• Learn how macroinvertebrate sampling reiterates water quality messages and is a springboard for further investigation

Whether you’ve had your River Detective mojo on this year or not, everyone loves waterbugs so dive in and give it a try !
