Soil isn’t a strong focus of the River Detectives program but hey, everything is nature is integrally linked and if you are a River Detectives school you area probably interested in a broad range of sustainability initiatives.
Soil Week Australia is not until December 5-12 but they are running a schools competition and if you’re keen, registrations close on September 4. There are primary (Gr 4,5,6) and secondary (Yr 7-10) categories and it’s free to enter with a $1000 prize for the winner !
