This is an invitation only event for schools in the Gunbower / Lower Loddon area affiliated through their involvement in the River Detectives program with the Native Fish Recovery Project and RiverScan citizen-science project.

The day out on Gunbower Creek will be a fun and interactive day to learn about the area’s beautiful waterways.  Students will enjoy four activities;

• Cultural activity with Barapa Traditional Owners
• What is water for the environment ? with fish ecologist and Turtles Australia
• Clay sculptures with ceramicist Ann Ferguson
• Macroinvertebrate sampling with Parks Victoria
